Here is a great website that ewferg tweeted about. It is a search engine like site that gets you the data that you want. http://www31.wolframalpha.com/ Here are some pictures of it. When you type in a date, it tells you what great events happened on that day, moon phase, how long ago it was in days weeks months everything! It is pretty cool!
